The first rule of a gun belt is that it needs to be TIGHT on your waist. Without the simple loop-over buckle, the original hook-and-pile belt kept pulling loose on my waist. This does not. That flimsy-looking little plastic buckle does the trick in letting you get your inner belt on, TIGHT. My duty rig sits up high and doesn't shift anymore. Such a cheap fix, I can't believe that I fought through the original inner belt for so long. Well worth the little bit of money for this.
