SureFire builds the 6PX LED from high strength aircraft aluminum, giving it an ergonomic grip with slight grooves allowing a comfortable hold. The lens has a poly-carbonate window to protect against impact and a o-ring to seal against dust and moisture. To protect against scratches and corrosion, the 6PX Pro has a mil-spec hard anodized finish. The operation of SureFire 6PX is simple, press for momentary-on to click for constant-on for low mode, and click off and on within 2 seconds for high mode. It also features a tail lock switch to avoid accidentally turning it on during transport or storage.
