The flashlight features an internal microprocessor that allows the user to switch between three light intensity modes as well as a strobe function. In its highest power setting, the Stinger DS HP emits a powerful 200 lumen beam that illuminates entire areas for extensive searching and visibility. When working in closer quarters a low powered mode projects steady 50 lumen beam. In emergency situations the strobe features can be used to alert others of your location or to stun enemy combatants. Two activation switches, one on the tail and on near the front, offer convenient navigation of these modes. Best flashlight I've ever owned. Best part is that it is not heavy or cumbersome. It is still solid and can leave a good blow when needed.

Extremely bright. This flashlight is excellent if you work night shift. I will never use another flashlight as long as I am working night shift.
