I still have my 2007 stinger ds led hp rechargeable flashlight (streamlight) that puts out a better concentrated beam. The downside is that it is only 200 lumens. I work nights and have looked at the new series and was won over with this 640 lumen light. My friends wanted one also so I bought 3. The only drawback is no tailcap switch, so I switched tailcaps from my old stinger and voila it works like a charm. Streamlight should put a tailcap switch on this flashlight. Otherwise, a ver good buy.
