Its plain edge VG-10 stainless steel blade is both hollow-ground and swedge-ground, making it extremely sharp and giving it a double-edged tip with a reduced cross-section for improved piercing power. It also offers a high level of fine control, thanks to jimping along the spine that serves to offer a secure thumb rest. The FRN handle features a double channel for greater gripping and handling, curving gently to fit the natural shape of the hand. The handle includes a highly secure back lock as well as a David Boye Dent in the locking lever to reduce the risk of accidental lock disengagement.
