C149GP C149GP Vallotton Sub-Hilt Plain Edge Folding KnifeSpyderco has collaborated with self-starter knife enthusiast cum professional knife-maker Butch Vallotton to create the Spyderco C149GP Vallotton Sub-Hilt Plain Edge Folding Knife. Somewhat of an identifier as an all-things-gadget geek, Vallotton's life work translates into the invention of the ambidextrous blade thumb stud. This Spyderco C149GP folding knife utilizes this unique feature as a blade opener as well as a stop pin preventing the edge's overextension. This addition does not do away with Spyderco's signature Round Hole, and the sleek styling of the sub-hilt is Italian-esque with its coffin shaped grip of buffed G-10 with stainless tongue-and-groove fitted bolsters. The Vallotton Sub-Hilt also comes replete with the versatile tip up/tip down right/left pocket carry clip. The Crucible Steel Inc. of New York is behind the CPM S30V powdered steel for its Tanto-shaped sheath, and its hollow-ground sharp edge features a convex-grind tip.Spyderco C149GP Specs
