Its unusual, downward-curved hawksbill blade is ideal for controlled slicing, while the double-edged tip pierces through hard materials effectively. The blade's unique shape makes it easier to cut through rope, fishing line and similar materials by trapping them against the edge. The stainless steel construction is hollow-ground and contains both molybdenum and vanadium, ensuring both lasting durability and razor-sharp performance. Spyderco's trademark, comet-shaped blade hole makes it easy to deploy and includes a David Boye Dent to prevent users from accidentally disengaging the lock. The steel handle is gently curved to fit comfortably in the hand and includes a pair of finger grooves to provide a secure grip.
