The handle is made of stainless steel and provides a comfortable grip and features the David Boye Dent which prevents accidental disengaging of the lockback when gripping tightly. Additional features of the Spyderco Byrd MeadowLark2 folding knife is the jimping on the spine which allows a secure grip and prevents your thumb from slipping. The handle of this Spyderco knife gives you multiple carry options, the first one being a lanyard hole. You can run a thong or a 550 paracord through it.
