The baton is a great weapon for those places where you cannot carry a firearm. I took 1 star off because it is somewhat difficult to close it once it locks into place. Maybe it just takes a bit of practice.

I have the 12 inch and 16 inch batons. This is great because in my humble opinion most fights that I have been in happen at the most unexpected, inconvenient, and physically compromising times. There is no time to square off, we live in the day of the coward. In any event, I like this item because you can even the playing field, take control of a room, and dominate a man much larger person than you with one well placed strike, I'm thinking the ear on either side, it's a non-lethal hit and will knock the fight right out of him. The 12 inch baton is easier to carry around everywhere you go undetected. However, for setting matters straight with more than one person, the 16 inch is plenty good. I hope I never have to use them, but life is unpredictable and fortune favors the prepared.

Does not stay extended. Wiggle it side to side and it will collapse.

This is a good expandable baton with good quality and price. It can be expanded without hesitation and retracted easily. I love it. CopsPlus has good quality items and delivered very fast.

Great product My son and I really like the Batons. I would recommend this product.
It's hard to tell from photo, but is this gunmetal or black in color? I'm looking for a 16 inch expandable in silver, but gunmetal would be great too. ThanksIt is black in color.
Does this baton fit on gun belt?Yes, the included sheath will fit on a gun belt.
