It contains three powerful one watt lights, one white, one 395 nanometer ultraviolet, and one 455 nanometer blue. All three are made from black anodized aluminum for durability. It also comes with a flexible tripod that can be used to mount any one of them for area lighting, and is also compitable with the MMX100 and MMX300 lights. The white light is ideal for surveying the scene and finding physical evidence, the ultraviolet light picks out bodily fluids and bone fragments, while the blue light eliminates background and makes it easier to spot both body fluids and fingerprint powder.
