The tie passes through holes in the bottom panel of the box, allowing them to wrap around the item and keep it wrapped securely in place, reducing the risk of damage during transport. Multiple ties can be hooked together in order to fit larger samples. Unlike standard zip ties, they are removable and reusable, which also makes it easier to release the evidence without damaging it.
