This boonie hat from Tru-Spec is designed to meet all relevant United States State Department specifications on clothing for contractors working abroad. It is made from a durable polyester-cotton ripstop blend fabric that resists tearing, and includes brass vents with screens that provide comfortable ventilation without allowing debris or insects in. The adjustable chin strap keeps the hat securely on your head in windy conditions, and can also be used for secure carry when it is not being worn.
