Constructed of solid steel, the mounting equipment includes everything necessary to achieve a horizontal or vertical gun mount. Horizontal gun mount provides a secure attachment to the partition and the vertical retrofit floor mount allows for a muzzle down floor mount near the transmission or console areas of a vehicle. To prevent theft or improper use, the gun rack includes a timer with an 8-second delay. In the event of a power outage, an override feature allows the use of a handcuff, straight or vending key for firearm detachment. The Pro-Gard steel rack accommodates multiple weapons, including Remington 870, AR15 and M4 rifles and accessories.
