6100 Full Length Body Riot Shield
The 6100-series handheld body shield provides excellent ergonomic knee-to-head coverage, measuring 48 inches tall and 24 in. wide. This transparent shield is made using a clear, high-strength, UV-stable 0.150 in. polycarbonate resin, allowing for an undistorted view with 88% visibility. It also has an ergonomic polymer allow handle with steel inserts, a 0.75-inch thick shock-absorbent foam pad, and an adjustable, breakaway nylon arm strap for comfortable one-handed (using either hand) or two-handed use. The handles prevent electricity from passing through (a.k.a. dielectric) for additional safety.
This has been designed so that two people can hold it using both hands, allowing for a much more powerful shielding position. It also weighs less than ten pounds, offering minimal weight fatigue. These are great for riot situations where hurled objects might become a serious threat.
