L4 1830C LED Penlight
The Pelican L4 1830C is a bright LED penlight, small enough to carry with you everywhere you go. Its Nichia LED provides five lumens of white light, and is activated by a convenient tail cap switch with constant and momentary on functions. The slim body is made from durable, lightweight Xenoy polycarbonate resin with a textured surface that provides a secure grip, and IPX4 rated for water resistance. The anti-roll head design makes sure that it stays in one place when set down. Its non-metallic body won't cause sparks, making it safe to use in electrical environments. Very compact, although not especially bright. Sturdy design is a plus. I work plainclothes and keep it my jacket pocket, but it doesn't replace a true combat light, especially if you work nights.
