Model 850 - Hinged Colored Handcuffs
The enlarged Model 850 hinge handcuffs from Peerless provide greater internal space than the Model 700 or 750. They are made from carbon steel, and feature an ultra-durable Electrolytic Polyurethane Plating coating that resists chipping and scratching and allows the locking mechanism to work smoothly. The bright orange color helps with identification, and makes it easy to color-code prisoners. The hinged design restricts prisoner movement further than a chain handcuff, and its smooth locking action and tamper-proof double lock ensure that once they are restrained, they stay restrained.
