Model 703 - Colored Leg Irons
These Model 703 leg irons from Peerless feature an all-over Electrolytic Polyurethane Plating coating in bright orange. This makes them easy to identify, and also allows prisoners to be easily color-coded for instant classification by threat level, jurisdiction or other criteria. It is extremely resistant to chipping and scratching, and won't interfere with the locking mechanisms. They are made entirely from durable steel, complete with a rust-resistant nickel finish. The locks are designed to resist tampering effectively and can be double-locked in any one of 21 positions to provide a secure custom fit.
