The Maxpedition Single M4/M16 Shingle (Short) is a compact carrier for one 20-round M4 or M16 magazine, that can also fit a 30-round magazine with reduced coverage. It attaches to MOLLE or PALS webbing using 3 inch TacTies, sold separately. It is made from 1000 denier ballistic nylon, making it extremely durable and wear resistant, and features reinforced composite nylon thread stitching throughout for enhanced toughness. Its triple polyurethane coating keeps water out, while the Teflon fabric protector repels dirt. A wrap-around elastic shock cord at the top of the pouch holds the magazine securely in place without restricting access.
