4-2013 Perma-Gel Large Test Block MixSimulate a human torso with Lightning Powder's Perma-Gel Large Test Block Mix. Perma-Gel is clear, non-toxic synthetic gel that results in a highly realistic live-tissue block perfect for ballistics tests.
The kit has enough of the raw Perma-Gel mixture to make one large block measuring 39 x 29 x12 cm (15.6 x 11.4 x 4.8 in.). It can easily and indefinitely be re-melted for multiple tests, making it a very economical solution. This can be used to simulate cold (4° C) 10% ordnance gelatin without any decomposition issues.
NOTE: To create an accurate adult male torso testing condition, Perma-Gel recommends you stack four large blocks (2 x 2) on top of each other. A single large block can also be cut down to simulate the frontal area of a human head.Lightning Powder 4-2013 Specs
