4-1607 Gunshot Residue Kit (GSR), AAThis Gunshot Residue (GSR) Kit is intended for collecting samples from a suspect's hands to later perform an Atomic Absorption (AA) analysis.
Each kit is individually sealed and includes gloves, a shipping envelope, instructions, cotton swabs (in tunes), a liquid chemical and an evidence label. Contains enough tubes and swabs to collect and send six (6) individual samples in one envelope.
A sample is gathered by soaking the end of a swab in the liquid, rubbing the swab on the alleged shooter's hands and then placing the swab with the sample back in the same tube.
