The handle is scaled and contoured for a secure and precise grip, allowing for exceptionally fine control and keeping it securely in your hand. The real innovation lies in their standard thumb disk. Emerson's "wave shaped feature" allows the CQC-3K to open as it leaves your pocket for immediate readiness and use. The tab at the top of the blade snags on the pocket seam as it's drawn, causing it to deploy. Once open, the frame lock prevents it from closing unintentionally.
