An area of the handle's anodized aluminum frame is replaced with a stainless steel plate to create a strong yet lightweight sub-frame lock. The new Knockout knife employs a DLC (diamond-like carbon) coat, which helps to protect the 3.25 inch stainless steel, plain-edge blade. Easily deploy the blade with one hand utilizing the proprietary SpeedSafe® system, either pull the flipper or press the thumbstud. The sub-frame lock keeps the blade solidly in place.
