The Model 517.A65 Holographic Weapon Sight (HWS) from EOTech is designed for maximum functionality and compatibility with other sighting equipment. Moving the controls from the rear to the left side of the sight's body provides improved utility when used in tandem with a magnifier or iron sights. The raised front section elevates the sight by 7-millimeters, allowing it to sit atop of standard handguards on many AR-15 style weapons. The sight's parallax-free holography and unlimited eye relief allow both-eyes-open shooting, helping to maintain full awareness of surroundings and speeding up target engagement and transitions. Its shatter-resistant laminate rear window is highly durable, while the sight's fog-proof and glare-resistant optics make it suitable for all weather conditions. The reticle is a 65 MOA circle with a single aiming dot. Scroll through 20 brightness settings to adapt to changing lighting conditions. The HWS takes two AA batteries and can run for 1000 continuous hours at brightness setting 12 when fitted with lithium batteries.
