Hey, guys. This is Andre Da Silva for Cops Plus. We're here to talk about Code Red Head Sets. With over thirty years experience, they make some of the finest headsets in the industry for law enforcement and military use. What we have here today are two of the more popular Code Red items. The Sherlock one wire and the Investigator two wire headsets. They feature the same components, a low profile, push to talk microphone with a swiveling clothing clip. It also features an acoustic tube that's easily removable and interchangeable in case yours gets damaged or you're sharing a microphone.

It also has a swiveling clothing clip in case you want to use your ear bud on the left or the right side. It comes with two different size ear buds, a small and a large for fitment. The difference between the Sherlock and the Investigator is the Sherlock is known as a one wire and this one wire connects directly to the radio, which then goes up to the microphone that clips onto the front of your shirt, therefore, making it visible, which then goes to the earpiece itself. To communicate, all you do is push the side button to talk.

The Investigator, which is also known as a two wire, again, plugs directly to the radio itself, but you'll notice that it almost immediately splits off into two wires. One of those wires connects directly to the microphone and the other to your headset. Now this is a great system for those of you who want a little more discretion when communication. You simply run the wire through your sleeve, hold the microphone in your hand to communicate more discretely. You'll also notice the extra length in the cord, which is ideal for the taller folk, which is why we recommend it for those of you who are six foot two or taller.
