Cervical CollarImmobilizing the neck of a patient in critical condition is vital to preventing further bodily injury that can be potentially life-threatening or cause permanent damage. EMI has created a lightweight, durable and easy to use Immobilizer Adjustable Cervical Collar for first responders needing to immobilize a patient. Four adjustable adult positions (no-neck, short, regular, tall) allow for a perfect, custom fit depending on the condition of the patient and location of injury. The padded inner layer maximizes patient comfort despite unfortunate circumstances. Designed with openings at the front and back of the neck, the collar allows first responders to palpate the spine and examine the tracheal and carotid areas without having to remove the supportive collar. The collar is compatible with spine boards, other head immobilizers and is able to be penetrated by X-Ray, MRI and CAT scans. All these features apply to the child-sized collar, except the positioning settings. The child collar adjusts to three positions (mini, mid, pedi).Item Specs
