Very good strap, only thing is? You have to release it down up, not up down. If that makes any sense.

I'm not a big guy and needed a way to carry another set of cuffs. This works better than the traditional cuff case. One one time I had it come loose in the car.

Being an older cop with 40 years of service, this handcuff holder is a lot better because it allows the handcuffs to be lower on my belt. Does not put pressure on the old kidneys, very well made and easy to use.

How wide is this strap?1.25" wide
Is there a version of this Handcuff Holder that has a longer strap so a pair of gloves could be held instead of handcuffs? I'm not talking about the Nitrile-style EMS gloves or something as thick as Firefighter gloves, something in between.For a glove holder strap, I recommend the Boston Leather VELCRO Lined Glove Strap.
Does this strap utilize a push release snap? or does it just snaps on and off?Strap just snaps on and off.
