YOMP--Your Own Marching Pace--refers to long-distance marching and the 500 denier nylon construction gives the pack the edge for being both rugged, lightweight and well-suited for travel. The durable, spring steel skeleton and integrated air vents support the pack, maintaining its form, and ensure balanced load placement that evens weight distribution. Thick padding on the shoulder straps and the waist belt combined with the sternum strap offer incredible load-bearing support and comfort for extended wear. The main compartment is large enough to accommodate essentials, with several individualized storage compartments for gear and is even compatible with a hydration reservoir up to 100 ounces. Closed-cell foam cushioning provides added protection for contents, safeguarding them from impact during transport. The innovative and convenient Y-zip pattern allows users to unzip the top portion of the pack only, or the entire pack as needed, creating a customized range of access to contents.
