Omnivore MultiFit Holster
The Blackhawk Omnivore MultiFit is an ultra-versatile holster that can accommodate more than 150 different semi-automatic handguns with accessory rails. It comes in three models, one that attaches to the rail using Blackhawk's proprietary Rail Attachment Device as well as light-bearing pistol holsters for weapons carrying the SureFire X300/X300U-A and Streamlight TLR1/2 that attach directly to the light. Its free-floating design provides a low-friction draw, and also reduces wear on the firearm. The locking mechanism provides secure level two retention to prevent grab attempts, but also releases quickly using an instinctive thumb activation device to allow a fast and natural draw. Nice adaptable holster. Should have more options for canting the holster to fit different pistol draw requirements. Release hangs up a lot.

Seems OK. It is bigger than it needs to be. There is a lot of space beyond the end of the light. I tried it with a Glock and M&P both seemed to fit ok. A 5" 1911 will be the approximate length with my light attached. Unfortunate that is not available for a Surefire X300U-B. I have to use the original or the X300U-A.

My intention was to use it with my River American 9mm pistol with a Barska over-under light and laser combination. NOT The height of the gun and laser at the muzzle makes it impossible. The Omnivore might fit 150 handguns, just not mine. I wound up using with my S&W compact M&P .40 cal.
Can this holster convert to high ride?At this time, there is no high ride belt loop adapter for this holster.
