Quality material.  4 out of 5 starsWritten by: Richard January 23, 2019 The Bianchi 82 CarryLok w Auto Retention is the best compromise between access and weapon retention I've found to date, thus my second purchase. The Auto CarryLok feature was the clincher. Push come to shove, 2 tenths of a second advantage in a weapon grab tussle is an immediate and near certain advantage when "up close and personal" becomes a reality. More so, I think than a faster draw by the same measure or more. The release mechanism is optimally located (IMHO) with an actuation move which occurs as grip development reaches full control. This well conceived design gives release integration into the weapon presentation process with a reassuring lack of drag. The fit is high and close in the 4 o'clock and wears comfortably from day one. Printing only becomes an issue under mostly unreasonable expectations such as wearing a close fitting sweater or jacket. The mild concern yet worth a lost star is what may be a loss of stiffness around the leather mouth. Early holster and re-holster practice is a likely contributor. Nonetheless, considering Bianchi's reputation and the cost, I will be sorely disappointed if the mouth continues to lose form. As an aside, often after I attached a holster as we dressed for an outing my wife offered a neutral comment (in my home neutral comment really means she dislikes (topic) but not enough to draw blood) when I asked her opinion on printing. When the first Bianchi 82 slid on my belt I wondered which was worse, not asking her opinion or asking and getting an answer. While I was still grinding away on this one, my lovely wife cleared the air and understanding dawned by saying, "That is a very nice holster and you wear it well." While the order took a little while to be shipped, I am extremely happy with both holsters. 5 out of 5 stars Written by: DW December 09, 2016 I have been using this holster for at least 8 years. For me, it provide a level 3 retention but with a level 2 style. I had to replace my 1st one due to an entering auto.
