Great form factor, easy targeting, but limited OC capacity. I bought this along with a practice cartridge for my significant other. She likes holding her keys in her waistband with this, as it's quickly accessible and gets the keys out of her pocket. Buying a practice cartridge seems very worth while. In our experience, she appreciated how easy to aim the Key Defender is, however, she was also somewhat surprised (and glad to know in advance) that it only has 2-3 12 second bursts at a 6-8' range, then a few sputters after that. This certainly isn't a defensive spray to buy as a less lethal option at home, or for crowd control, but it's not meant for that, either. It's an excellent choice for many, as it can get the keys out of your pocket, it's easily aimed and fired under stress, and likely has enough capacity for most situations. A distinct added benefit is that it can be used as a kuboton for striking.
