07466 Training Rigid Handcuff

The ASP Training Rigid Handcuff is a useful teaching tool for law enforcement officers. It operates identically to the operational ASP Rigid Handcuff, even fastening using the same Rock & Lock procedure for total accuracy during training scenarios. The only difference is the red color that marks it out as a training aid. The double locking mechanism prevents the cuffs from tightening during wear and makes them extremely difficult to escape from for maximum security. When the double lock is not engaged, the cuffs can be disengaged simply by rolling the wrists to place pressure on the pawl. This makes them ideal for progressive restraint training and reduces the chances of injury to trainees.
