511 Tactical RUSH 24 Backpack Review
Aug 18, 2011 : Denny Hansen Denny Hansen reviews the 511 Tactical RUSH 24 backpack. Ruggedly constructed from water-resistant, 1,050-denier nylon, these molle backpacks feature flexible main storage compartments with internal dividers and compression straps. Side pockets and front organizer compartments are common to both backpacks.
511 Tactical RUSH 24 Backpack Review I'm Denny Hansen for S.W.A.T Magazine and CopsPlus. Today, one product I want to bring to your attention is the Rush 24 backpack from 5.11 Tactical. Rush 24 has fully padded shoulder straps that includes the portion across the top of the neck, an adjustable sternum strap. One thing that's important for anybody who has worn a pack much are the padded place above the shoulders and at the kidneys.
While we're at the back of the pack, I'd like to point out that there's a large compartment for a hydration bladder. If you're out hiking, almost any kind of strenuous activity, one of the most important thing is to stay hydrated. This pack allows that capability. There's numerous pockets on the Rush 24. There's a main compartment. two exterior compartments, and on the inside of each of these are additional pockets to where you can organize smaller items that you may need. A lot of them are small enough for a boo boo kit, for a ChapStick, bandage, small things, things like that.
They're also large enough to take some serious life saving equipment with you, such as some quick clock, things of that nature. I've worn it on several excursions, it's very comfortable, very well designed, I can recommend it.
