Using a template, almost any technician can complete a neat crime scene sketch quickly. If you have ever tried to draw a crime scene to scale or to indicate injuries, needle marks, tattoos or other identifying factors on a human figure, you know how hard it is.
This clear, green plastic template shows front/back and side views of an average female form and average male form in scale heights ranging from 4' 6" to 6' 3" in the female form and from 4' 6" to 6' 6" in the male. The scale is 1/4" = 1'. There is a diagram in the corner showing how to assemble the pieces to indicate a bending figure and one with bent arms. It is difficult to draw the human figure in your crime scene sketch. Here is a way to make it easier and more professional looking.
