The Power Failure model is designed to automatically turn on during a power outage or blackout. The mounting base keeps the unit ready, and fully charged. It can be removed from the base at any time and used as a normal high power flashlight / lantern for 8 continuous hours. For extended power outages, the unit can be recharged from a vehicle using the included DC adapter. This is one of the best emergency preparedness flashlights available for industry, commercial and home use. It is available with a 8 watt spot or flood lamp in orange or beige colors.
